We welcomed the 1st multi-alternative fuels travel center in America to Hartford, CT at the Pride Travel Center.
MotorWeek filmed two of our stakeholders’ accomplishments including:
USA Hauling & Recycling and the
Pride Travel Center. USA Hauling continues to grow its fleet of CNG waste trucks with a solar-powered station, the 1st of its kind.
The Clean Cities Collaborative offered the Municipal EV Readiness Toolkit which included a virtual Electric Bus Toolkit webinar.
I84 and I91 are alternative fuel corridors that include EV, Propane and CNG, Hydrogen pending.
CT Clean Cities worked with bus providers and towns to assist with DEEP’s 12.7 million in VW Settlement funding opportunities process providing input and education. Municipalities awarded: Middletown, New Britain, Hamden, Stamford, Bethel, Ansonia, and Griswold.
We started an EV Roadshow partnering with local dealerships visiting several towns to offer public education, vehicle displays, and information on purchasing incentives via CHEAPR. Looking forward to a great 2022!
