Sponsored by Capitol Clean Cities of Connecticut and Greater New Haven Clean Cities, this event was a part of a series of three deliveries of NFPA’s Hybrid and Electric Vehicle training for first responders in Connecticut, and it was offered free of charge.
Topics included an introduction to HEVs/EVs, basic electrical concepts and hazards, vehicle types, initial response actions, battery breaches, vehicle fires, and considerations specific to Connecticut.
We hope that those who attended had the opportunity to enhance their knowledge and skills in handling hybrid and electric vehicles safely and effectively!
